Off on tour - hello South Island

09 November 2018

Hello South Island, I’m coming for my first solo tour for over two and a half years. High time I was back, sorry I can’t stay longer, and I’m really looking forward to the music, the friends, the driving through New Zealand’s amazing scenery and roads.
About 15 gigs in 21 days, including 3 folk clubs and playing support for Katharticus in Dunedin. See the gig guide to the right ->

STOP PRESS - highlight so far; seeing whales and dolphins in the Marlborough Sounds. Catch the vid!

An amazing collaborative experience

26 August 2018

So back in February I took part in an amazing collaborative week. 20 musicians, 5 studios, 6 exhausting but exhilarating days (and nights). 3 EPs later and we're planning to do it all again. If you're ever interested in collaborative music or inspiration, have a read of this...

Wow - Ship of Dreams is an award winning song

It's an odd feeling - there were many really good songs, so after third and second place were announced I was looking around at a number of worthy entrants. Never thought Ship of Dreams was going to win. hardly heard the announcement, it took a few seconds to register.
What?Oh.Wow.....

Time to stand up and support - earthquake fundraiser

23 December 2016

A huge 7.8MM earthquake struck near Kaikoura, New Zealand, just after midnight on 14 November.  The quake caused much damage, with services disrupted, communities cut off and livelihoods ruined. You can help!

Donations (purchases / proceeds) of a special quake related song go to the NZ Red Cross appeal. So you get to support the needy, and get some music too :-)

6 October 2016
